Cenaero is a private non-profit applied research center and provides to companies involved in a technology innovation process numerical simulation methods and tools to invent and design more competitive products. Internationally recognized, Cenaero is mainly active in the fields of aeronautical design, spacecrafts, manufacturing processes, and buildings and smart cities.
Cenaero also operates, since 2002, scientific computing infrastructures: supercomputers and facilities that host them. These infrastructures supply the computing resources that answer the needs of simulation technologies developped by researchers in the framework of research projects or intellectual services performed for companies from various sectors, in particular in aeronautics. The resources are accessible to researchers of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, universities and research centers, but also to companies according to the applicable agreement with the Walloon Region which supports the project.
